   The Willcox Law Firm was founded in 1895 by P.A. Willcox and Fred L. Willcox. The firm, like Florence, has its history rooted in the railroad. The firm built its practice on that foundation, but as the area grew, so did the firm, which expanded its practice on a business and litigation foundation with particular emphasis on the defense of claims. The firm's practice has grown in geographic scope, now encompassing all of South Carolina's eastern counties including the rapidly growing coast, and throughout the S.C. Federal Court system.
