Firm Profile
The firm was founded by the original partnership of Kenneth E. Worthing and John J. Schneider, who began practicing law together in 1954. The firm merged with the Colwin Law Offices (A long-lasting Fon du Lac firm also) in 2000. The firm has always had a general civil trial practice, with an extensive emphasis on litigation, primarily insurance defense. Several members of the firm, however, practice extensively in other areas of law including corporation, probate, real estate and municipal law. Medical negligence defense and related professional liability defense have been significant areas of emphasis and practice since the mid to late 1970's. The firm prides itself in promptness and quality in dealing with various clients' needs.
